ATR Landhandel GmbH & Co. KG has invested in a new Sennebogenmaterial handler at the Port of Husum in Germany for loading/unloading ships with feed, synthetic fertilizers and grain. This particular machine is bright red to match the company’s colors, unlike the trademark green that you’ll see on most Sennebogenproducts. But, the unique features don’t stop with just the color. New LineWise TLL-500A Series 3 Triple Line Lifter

LineWise has introduced its TLL-500A Series 3 Triple Line Lifter for sub-transmission applications. Designed to support three phases of energized conductors between 34.5 kV and 72.5 kV, the product features all-new hydraulic articulation, allowing operators to easily rotate phases up to 90 degrees from horizontal to vertical orientation while servicing sub-transmission lines. It also includes hydraulic cylinders to extend and retract the outer phases.

On April Fool's Day in 1981, at the age of 27, Doug Harvey purchased what was dubbed at the time 'the losingest' International Harvester dealership in all of Canada. The Winnipeg dealership — where Doug was working as a Sales Rep — had suffered losses of $250,000 a year for three straight years and interest rates had soared to nearly 20%. He had to assure his wife at the time that taking out a second mortgage on their home to buy into the business was not an April Fool's joke!

By 1945, Bill Willis certainly recognized the immense business potential heavy equipment distributors would have supplying to a booming post-war Canadian economy. Bill worked for one of the earliest and largest heavy equipment dealers in Ontario. With this insight and business vision in mind, Bill parted ways with that company and on April 6th, 1946, Equipment Sales & Service was born.
