FAE Releases New Powerful 200/SC Stump Cutter For The PT-175

The already versatile PT-175 from FAE is getting a boost with the launch of the new 200/SC hydraulic stump grinder for high horsepower carriers.

Compact, maneuverable and easy to handle, the 200/SC features a sturdy disc rotor configuration with additional support blades to effortlessly tackle the most stubborn stumps and roots up to 20” deep.

The unit is powered by a VT hydraulic motor with double relief block and anti-cavitation valves to ensure productivity while protecting the hydraulic system, while a poly chain belt transmission provides superior performance and excellent power management.

Hydraulic and proportional swing controls allow operators, while stationary, to swing the unit back and forth to grind larger material. Interchangeable protection chains help to safely deflect debris.

The new 200/SC is ideal for stump removal in forests, parks, roadside, river banks or agricultural settings.

With three easily interchangeable attachment options for the PT-175, the new stump cutter is a game changer for contractors needing multiple tools to perform multiple applications at the job site. Operators can grind stumps quickly and easily with the 200/SC, then swap to the 140/U/SONIC forestry mulching head for heavier vegetation management or to the Dozer Blade attachment to tidy up the job, thus accomplishing more with less time and effort.
