PrimeTech, part of Italian based FAE Group, is a global leader in the production of self-propelled, tracked carriers for forestry, agriculture and roadwork. PrimeTech operates internationally with its cutting-edge range of four models (160 hp PT-175; 275 hp PT-300; 415 hp PT 400; 600 hp PT-600), with Canada undoubtedly being one of its key markets.

Since 2006, the year of its foundation, the Canadian branch office Prime- Tech Shredding Equipment Ltd. has worked to ensure a solid commercial presence in Canada. Among all FAE Group branch offices worldwide, PrimeTech Shredding became the foremost branch, both for turnover and service for PrimeTech carriers.

July 25th of this year marked the unveiling of the new Canadian headquarters in Spruce Grove, AB, a strategically ideal location in Western Canada. Customers and dealers from all over Canada, including some flying in on purpose from Ontario, took part in the opening ceremony, presided by the Spruce Grove Alderman, in attendance with local authorities. The ribbon was cut by Mr. Diego Scanzoni, President of FAE Group, with Alderman Rothe, Alderman Kesanko and the CEO of PrimeTech Shredding, Mr. Andreas Lambacher.

In the course of the ceremony, PrimeTech Shredding was presented with a Spruce Grove City plaque, while PrimeTech awarded a plaque to its dealers, in appreciation for the work done and the significant role they played to promote the PrimeTech brand in Canada.

Thanks to an investment of more than $2 million, the new PrimeTech Canadian headquarters in Spruce Grove—on the outskirts of Edmonton—covers a total area of 7,000 Sq Ft, 2,000 Sq Ft of which are offices and as many as 5,000 Sq Ft are dedicated to shop and warehouse space. The expansion in size compared to the previous headquarters will allow PrimeTech Shredding to meet the demands of its growing Canadian customer base with proactive efficiency, through an enhanced and more thorough service for spare-part distribution and sale of new and used vehicles.

“PrimeTech Shredding will continue to provide technical support and training services to both historic and new dealers. We intend to be present throughout Canada through a stable and widespread sales and support network” said CEO Andreas Lambacher “To our Canadian customers this investment is an important sign. It proves that we are committed to this market and we are here for the long run”.

During his speech, Diego Scanzoni emphasized that “investment in a new facility in Canada is part of the strategy that FAE Group has been pursuing on an international level. We aim to strengthen its visibility and presence in the world, and want to do so by setting up new sales offices within strategic markets. Besides the new Canadian headquarters, this year as FAE Group we have opened a sales office in Russia (Moscow). And today, as FAE Group we are present in more than 100 countries worldwide through branch offices abroad (in Germany, France, USA, Australia, Russia and Canada) and through distribution agreements with partners in nearly all other countries”.

Financial and economic results confirm that the internationalization strategy implemented by FAE Group is very successful, with FAE Group’s exports now representing 98% of its turnover.
