Mack Trucks has made the first public debut of the all-new Mack Anthem at the American Trucking Associations Management Conference and Exhibition in October.

This completely redesigned truck, launched in June 2025, delivers up to10% improvement in fuel efficiency compared with the previous model, enhanced maneuverability and industry-leading driver comfort
“The all-new Anthem represents a complete reimagining of what a modern Class 8 truck should deliver,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “We've designed this truck to address the real challenges fleet managers face today: rising fuel costs, driver recruitment and retention, and the need for equipment that maximizes productivity. The Anthem delivers measurable improvements in every area that impacts our customers' bottom line.”

The new Anthem, available in day cab, 44-inch sleeper and 64-inch sleeper configurations, is built from the ground-up with cutting-edge technologies and design principles. The truck’s enhanced maneuverability comes from a shorter bumper-to-back-of-cab (BBC) length of 113.5 inches, making it exceptionally well-suited for navigating tight spaces and urban environments. The redesigned hood dramatically improves forward visibility, allowing drivers to see approximately 12% closer to the front bumper compared with previous designs and significantly reducing the risk of front-corner collisions.

“The response to the Anthem has reinforced what we knew from the start – fleets need a truck that excels in maneuverability without sacrificing comfort or efficiency,” said Fernando Couceiro, Mack Trucks vice president of highway trucks. “The Anthem delivers on all fronts, giving our customers a competitive advantage in their operations.”

Designed for Driver Satisfaction and Operational Excellence
The Anthem features a completely redesigned cab interior with a cab that’s nine inches wider than the previous model. New wide-base seats feature optional ventilation, heating and massage functions, while stand-up sleeper options provide enough headroom for drivers to stand upright. Premium quality mattresses and blackout curtains enable improved rest. The truck also features advanced safety technologies, including an optional digital mirror system that eliminates traditional blind spots, a standard front airbag and an optional Integrated Curtain Airbag (ICA) system. Additional integrated driver assistance systems have demonstrated a 43% reduction in near-miss incidents during controlled testing.

Advanced Connectivity and Uptime Solutions
The new Anthem features Mack Connect, the company’s most advanced telematics platform, providing fleet managers unprecedented visibility into operations. Over-the-air programming enables overnight software updates without service appointments, while the predictive maintenance system has been shown to reduce unplanned stops by 20%. Integration with Mack’s GuardDog Connect automatically transmits service data to dealers, resulting in a 37% reduction in overall downtime compared with previous-generation trucks.

Versatile Applications
The Anthem is particularly well-suited for weight-sensitive applications including bulk haul, operations that require maneuvering in tighter spaces such as food and beverage distribution, and less-than-truckload (LTL) hub & spoke operators.

Availability
The new Mack Anthem is available for order now, with production beginning in January 2026.
