Roadbuilding Success Using MB Crusher Buckets

No matter where you are, one thing stays the same: every road needs a strong, compact, and stable base.
Is your business centered on road construction and spending a lot of money for the sub-base?

Whether you choose a BF crusher bucket or an MB-S screening bucket, our mission never changes: start with what you already have, make it more efficient, and build smarter.

So, where do you start? It begins with identifying your carrier machine – whether it's an excavator, backhoe or loader – and understanding what material is available on-site. Once you know that, choosing the right MB attachment is easy. Our tools are designed to boost productivity, cut costs, and help you get the job done – efficiently and sustainably.

United Kingdom – Jenkins Recycling Leads the Way

In the UK, Jenkins Recycling, a company with strong eco-conscious values, has found an ideal solution using the MB-S14 screening bucket mounted on a JCB 130.

Their challenge? To repurpose recycled crusher run into a high-quality material suitable for use as a sub-base. Thanks to the MB screening bucket, they’re now producing Type 1 recycled aggregate, screened down to 40mm to dust. The result is a uniform, compactable material that forms a stable base for driveways, car parks, and heavily trafficked areas.

Not only does this process help reduce landfill use, it also provides a reliable, cost-effective solution that’s good for both business and the environment.

Moldova – Crushing Costs, Building Roads

In Moldova, another client is using the BF80.3 crusher bucket, mounted on a CAT 320 GC, to crush demolition waste directly on site.

Previously, the process was expensive and time-consuming: they paid around €90 per 283 cubic feet to transport waste to landfill, and then had to purchase crushed material separately at €5 per ton.

Now, everything happens on-site. They crush the material where the demolition occurs, reuse it immediately as sub-base for new roads, and save significantly on logistics, material costs, and time. What’s more, they’ve become completely independent, managing the entire process in-house.

One Goal Worldwide

Whether you're working in the countryside or the city, whether you're building access roads or reconstructing infrastructure, MB attachments help you do more with what you’ve already got.

Our tools allow contractors to turn waste into a resource, streamline their processes, and build roads that last – no matter the location.
