New Bucket Wheel

McLanahan Corporation is excited to announce the expansion of their washing line with the launch of the McLanahan Bucket Wheel. The Bucket Wheel is a continuous, high‑throughput machine for washing, classifying, and dewatering sand or gravel.

With the introduction of the new Bucket Wheel, McLanahan will be one of the only manufacturers to offer customers the option of a Bucket Wheel, Fine Material Screw Washer or High Water Volume Fine Material Screw Washer. By offering this complete range of equipment, McLanahan is able to support customers no matter the volume of water they need to process. From the lowest to the highest volumes, McLanahan can help meet those processing requirements.

Bucket Wheels are currently available, with the first installation happening in mid-2026.

Patents-Pending Quick-Change System

In collaboration with its sister company Diefenbach, McLanahan is introducing the QUICKCHANGE system—a patents-pending innovation set to transform filter press maintenance. Engineered for speed, simplicity and safety, this groundbreaking technology streamlines filter cloth replacement and filter plate inspection, slashing downtime and boosting operational efficiency.

McLanahan Launches New Products
The QUICKCHANGE’s design reimagines filter cloth maintenance with an innovative design that allows cloths to glide effortlessly in and out during replacement. Unlike traditional methods requiring extensive manual labor or specialized lifting equipment, the QUICKCHANGE enables operators to perform maintenance at ground level in minutes — reducing the industry-standard replacement time of 10-20 minutes per cloth to just 1-2 minutes. This dramatic reduction in change-out time minimizes downtime and maximizes productivity.

Safety is a cornerstone of the QUICKCHANGE system. By eliminating the need for personnel to climb onto or inside filter presses for cloth changeout, the risks associated with working at heights or in confined spaces can be drastically mitigated. The streamlined process also reduces dependence on slow-moving overhead lifting equipment, further enhancing safety and efficiency. Filter cloths can be removed for quick cloth or filter plate inspection at eye level without the need to lift plates out of the filter press.

Beyond speed and safety, the QUICKCHANGE delivers cost-saving innovation. Traditional systems require replacing filter cloths on both sides of a plate when one fails, but the QUICKCHANGE allows operators to replace only the damaged side, cutting material waste and long-term maintenance costs. A specially designed feed shoe protects high-wear areas around the feed hole, extending cloth lifespan and ensuring consistent, high-performance filtration.

“Efficiency and safety drive everything we do,” said Cory Jenson, Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development at McLanahan. “Teaming up with Diefenbach—a pioneer in liquid-solid separation since 1907—we’ve created a game-changer. The QUICKCHANGE gets plants back online faster and safer, slashing downtime from filter cloth changeouts.”

New Recycling Impact Crusher

McLanahan has also launched its newest recycling crusher, the Renew Impact Crusher. It is designed for the C&D recycling of asphalt, concrete, and rubble, as well as virgin aggregate crushing applications.

The Renew Impact Crusher has a feed opening of 36” x 52” that is designed to process 24” feed material with ease, producing a wide range of output sizes from 6” down to 3/4", depending on application requirements. It features a 47" x 51" heavy-duty 4-bar rotor with a unique and maintenance-friendly hammer retaining system. The crusher utilizes robust hammers with a protruding leading edge to keep the gradation and production consistent as they wear. The hammer profile also allows for less core waste by increasing hammer exposure, extending wear life. The crusher chamber has been engineered with optimized geometry to allow the material to be evenly distributed in both the upper and lower chambers, allowing for balanced wear, increased production and better gradation. Strategic access points and inspection doors around the machine allow for ease of maintenance and reduced downtime for component replacement.

“McLanahan’s new Renew Impact Crusher represents a major step forward in productivity and cost efficiency for recycling and aggregate operations,” said Nick Ford, Director of Sales – Aggregate Crushing and Screening. “Through our experience and listening to our customers’ needs, we are excited to introduce the Renew Impact Crusher. The goal for this impactor was to provide a crusher that is easy to maintain, provides reliability, lowers cost per ton and is simple to operate.”

The Renew Impact Crusher allows for skidded or portable plant options. The portable plant option is compact and mobile, making it easier to transport from site-to-site without having to completely disassemble. This unit helps to complete McLanahan’s range of solutions for C&D Recycling.
