FAE Introduces New BL4/SSL Forestry Mulcher

FAE introduces the BL4/SSL forestry mulcher for skid steers from 90 to 135 hp, which can shred vegetation, brush and trees up to 30 cm in diameter.

While this product has already been released to great success in a number of markets, it is now available to users across Europe.

This machine delivers high productivity and excellent performance for applications in which the agility and maneuverability of a skid steer are required.

The main applications of the BL4/SSL include intensive vegetation management in woodlands and forests, green space maintenance along roads and railways, excess vegetation clearing along canals, rivers, and lakes, wildlife habitat protection, orchard and vineyard restoration and maintenance, and upkeep of commercial and residential green spaces, parks, trails, and recreational areas.

Designed to provide the operator with maximum visibility and ease of maintenance, the BL4/SSL is equipped with FAE’s Bite Limiter technology.

Its special profiles limit the depth of the cut, reducing power requirements and ensuring a constant operating speed.
The BL4/SSL is available in a VT (Variable Torque) version or with proprietary FAE Sonic technology.
The Sonic system automatically controls the hydraulic transmission of the machine, ensuring maximum shredding performance and boosting productivity by up to 30%.

With the FAE App, users can calibrate and manage the Sonic System directly from a smartphone and monitor key operating parameters in real time.

The new BL4/SSL can be equipped with BL/MAX blades or C/3/MAX teeth and is available in three width options: BL4/SSL-150, BL4/SSL-175 and BL4/SSL-200.
