The quality and environmental management systems applicable to the Aerospace and Transportation Systems Division at Liebherr-Canada Ltd. were recently recertified according to the latest AS9120 Rev. B, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001_2015 standards. A stringent and detailed audit of processes and procedures preceded the recertification.

These certifications confirm that the quality management system meets all current requirements for the distribution of products for aerospace products and the environmental management system in place meets the latest applicable standards for the protection of the environment.

The Aerospace and Transportation Systems Division at Liebherr-Canada Ltd. in Laval, near Montreal, is in charge of the final assembly and inspection of landing gear system components for the Bombardier C Series aircraft. The site is also developing new offerings in addition to service and assembly of aerospace products. Customers in the rail vehicle sector are also being serviced by the team.
