Sometimes, trade shows help attendees learn more about an existing product. Other times, trade shows help attendees learn there is a brand-new product on the market.

“We had many guests at the Ammann stand,” said Bernd Holz, executive vice president of Ammann’s Roadbuilding Division of bauma 2025, which concluded in mid-April. “Our plants and machines drew plenty of attention. There also was a strong reaction to emerging technologies, some of which were entirely new to the audience.”

Visitors to the booth were clearly impressed by Ammann’s innovative jobsite technologies, including the Connected Worksite, which streamlines all phases of roadbuilding. Ammann and digitalisation expert Q Point created this digital solution, which arranges all of the roadbuilding puzzle pieces to create a single, clear image of the complete process.

Guests could see how these innovations and products are interconnected. Many visitors reviewed Ammann’s extensive product line – ranging from plants to plates and everything in between.

New to the lineup are ABG Pavers. Ammann acquired ABG in June, making bauma 2025 the first big show highlighting Ammann’s new paving line.

“Ammann products represent all phases of the roadbuilding process,” said Bernd. “We also offer technologies that link them all.”

The new eABG 4820, the largest electric-drive paver on the market, was a key player in the demonstrations held at the booth. Also showcased at the demos was the eARX 26-2 Light Tandem Roller, an electric-drive machine that can operate for 10 hours without recharging.

“The strong attendance at Ammann’s demonstrations was indicative of the high interest level of the attendees,” Bernd said.

The pavilion devoted to plants drew crowds. Scale models and videos helped clearly explain the features and benefits of Ammann concrete- and asphalt-mixing plants. Detailed explanations of key components also received positive reviews.

“We were very pleased with the reactions to all our products,” Bernd said. “As always, these discussions provide us with valuable lessons that help us continue to develop the right solutions for our customers.”
