Hayco Equipment Ltd. Expands Rental Fleet with Acquisition of West Coast Equipment Rentals

Hayco Equipment Ltd. finalized the acquisition of West Coast Equipment.
The acquisition makes Hayco a more complete full-line supplier of construction equipment to rental customers. Raymond “Ray” Torrance founded West Coast Equipment Rentals 19 years ago, and has spent over 50 years in the heavy equipment business. Ray decided it was now time to retire. West Coast Equipment has been providing late model, highly specked equipment to contractors across the lower mainland.

Hayco has been in the business of importing and exporting machines locally and overseas since 1976. On September 15, 2015 Dave Haywood, Hayco’s founder decided to retire, and sold the business to Brian Butzelaar.

Hayco’s rental fleet of highly specialized equipment and its sales of various types of heavy equipment help customers get their jobs done right. All consultation and inquiries are handled directly by the owner who holds honesty and integrity as the foundation of good business. “I hope to carry on serving the many longstanding customers of West Coast Equipment,” says Brian Butzelaar, owner of Hayco Industries Ltd. “West Coast Equipment will act as a division of Hayco to provide a seamless transaction for customers.”
