IEOA Announces 26th Annual Truck Parade & Food Drive – December 6, 2025

This highly anticipated community event will feature approximately 80 commercial vehicles—including dump trucks, trailers, crane trucks, firetrucks, coast guard vessels, mixer trucks, military, and transit vehicles—decorated with festive lights and ornaments. The parade will travel a 35km route through Greater Victoria to spread holiday cheer.

The members of the IEOA represent civil, municipal, and road building construction businesses and heavy equipment industry suppliers who are dedicated to giving back to their communities through a range of charitable initiatives. Engaging in events such as the annual Truck Parade & Food Drive and Community Projects IEOA members strive to make a positive impact and give back, strengthening community bonds and fostering a spirit of generosity throughout Greater Victoria.

Since its inception, the parade has collected thousands of pounds of food and hundreds of thousands of dollars in monetary contributions for local food banks and nonprofit organizations.

The Parade will depart Ogden Point at 5:00 pm and glow its way along Dallas Road into the beautiful village of Oak Bay. CHEK News will provide live coverage in Oak Bay Village at 6:00 pm, and local radio stations will offer updates throughout the event winding its way through downtown Victoria, Saanich, View Royal and into Colwood. Trucks will brighten the light-up event in Langford as they cruise down Goldstream Ave to Veterans Memorial Parkway. The glow will carry on down Veterans Memorial Parkway and onto Latoria Road with the parade concluding at the festive Christmas in Colwood community event in Royal Bay at approximately 8:00 pm.

Spectators are encouraged to support the food drive by donating nonperishable items at specific locations during the event and at designated businesses in the two weeks leading up to the parade. Links are on the IEOA website for online monetary donations to a variety of food banks that offer charitable receipts. IEOA members invite the public to contribute in ways meaningful to them, whether through food, clothing, or volunteer efforts and come watch the trucks at a convenient spot along the route and cheer them on.

Parade drivers are busy preparing their rigs for the big night and look forward to sharing the holiday spirit and engaging with the community on December 6. Event details, including the route map, GPS tracking during the event, and donation information, are available at ieoa.ca
