  • 2011-2012 OTA Road Knights Team Announced

    The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) is pleased to announce that seven outstanding drivers have been named to the 2011-2012 OTA Road Knights Team. The members of the 2011-2012 Road Knight Team were selected due to their impeccable driving record, demonstrated commitment to safety and desire to share their trucking industry expertise. This is the 9th team the OTA has assembled since the program was launched in 1995. This year’s OTA Road Knights Team is sponsored in part by the OTA Allied Trades Division, who demonstrated their generous support of Team by becoming an annual sponsor.

B-C Equipment Sales, Inc. is kicking off its 25th year in business by giving back to a cause that is dear to their hearts. Their, Link Belt RTC 8030 II, 30 ton, bright pink crane is sure to get people's attention as well as the attention of the organization that it benefits. The Susan G. Komen For the Cure organization will receive 10% of the monthly rental of this machine. B-C Equipment is hoping to keep this machine busy enough to give the organization $600 per month. This also gives other companies a chance to give back through renting machines that are necessary for their everyday work. B-C Equipment co-founder and CEO, Bill Lathrop Jr. states, " We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our 25th year in business than giving to a worthy cause. Cancer research is something that is important to my family and I. The fact that Breast Cancer will affect 1 in 8 women is a fact that cannot be ignored.
