Hendrickson’s Haulmaax EX Launched At Mack

Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems announced that it has partnered with Mack Trucks to offer the Next Generation HAULMAAX EX heavy-duty rubber suspension.

The Mack TerraPro and LR cab-over vehicles are now available for purchase with the HAULMAAX EX suspension at authorized Mack dealers.

HAULMAAX EX provides the versatility needed for trucks that operate both on-and off-highway. The suspension’s equalizing beam distributes the load equally between both axles in off-road and uneven terrain conditions and provides 17 inches of diagonal articulation. The innovative design eliminates fixed center bushing pivot points to reduce wheel hop. An integrated jounce stop provides overload protection to maximize the life of the progressive load springs and bolster springs. The tire clearance was increased on HAULMAAX EX to include packages with 315 tires and 9 inch steel wheels while continuing to meet the SAE standard for tire chain clearance.
