CM Labs Expands Walkaround Inspection Packs

CM Labs Simulations, the leading vendor for simulation-based training solutions in the construction, ports, and utilities industries, has announced the addition of walkaround inspection training to its Motor Grader and Articulated Dump Truck Simulator Training Packs.

This latest expansion reaffirms CM Labs’ commitment to providing a complete simulation training solution that combines a deep catalog of equipment, advanced instructor tools with detailed reporting features, and a curriculum designed for beginner and advanced operators alike.

CM Labs Expands Walkaround Inspection Packs
CM Labs’ walkaround inspection exercises are designed to help trainees quickly and effectively learn how to perform inspections. By offering tips and educational information at inspection points, exercises help trainees complete lessons independently and at their own pace, in addition to under the supervision of an instructor. As a result, training is faster and more effective. In addition, CM Labs’ walkaround inspection training includes equipment malfunctions and breaks, generated at random. This exposes trainees to a wide variety of issues, preparing them for the real issues they will encounter when completing walkaround inspections on real jobsites.
“Malfunctions and breaks don’t happen often, but when they do, you want your operators to be able to spot them,” said Alan Limoges, Manager of Product Growth and Partnerships. “Our exercises introduce malfunctions into the inspection at random, which teaches operators to remain vigilant. Also, by simply completing the walkaround inspection, they learn the various components of the machine, what each component looks like, and what they do.”

Walkaround Inspection is now available as part of the following Intellia Training Packs: Motor Grader, Articulated Dump Truck, Mini Excavator, Backhoe, Dozer, Tracked Excavator, Wheeled Excavator, and Wheel Loader. All existing customers with AM&S agreements will also receive walkaround inspection in their Motor Grader and Articulated Dump Truck Training Packs.
