Loftness has updated its popular Kwik Cut brush cutter attachment for skid steers and compact track loaders.

Featuring a more heavily reinforced housing and floating door, the new model offers unmatched performance with greater durability to slice through brush and trees up to 10 inches in diameter.

Backed by an industry-leading two-year warranty, the new model includes a more rugged floating door with an enhanced hinge design, thicker bracing and reinforced door stop to withstand greater pressure when pushing larger trees. Additionally, more steel tubing has been used to increase body strength and stiffen the frame to prevent twisting under extreme pressure.

The Kwik Cut’s heavy-duty, 72-inch-diameter disc is equipped with four dual-edge beveled blades, which are designed to retract on severe impact to protect them and other components from damage. The underside of the disc contains 18 carbide teeth for grinding stumps and brush to ground level. Each tooth is secured with a single bolt for fast, easy replacement and maintenance.

Loftness’ exclusive floating door design opens as the attachment is pushed against a tree, exposing the blades for more effective cutting. When fully opened, the door becomes rigid, functioning as a tree pusher.

Designed for power units with a 28- to 45-GPM hydraulic flow range up to 5,000 PSI, the Kwik Cut is powered by a 150cc radial piston motor. It provides instant torque at startup for fast recovery times and superior cutting performance. A rubber-mounted pressure gauge allows operators to easily monitor the workload from the skid-steer cab.

Other standard features include bearing anti-wrap protection, a premium strength steel body and disc, and a universal skid-steer mount.
