Mccloskey Introduces Compact Jaw Crusher

Following up on the success of the J-50 (formerly C-50) jaw crusher, McCloskey International has released the compact J-40 as an entry level unit to our track mounted jaw range. Featuring a true 24” x 40” jaw, the J40 provides production rates which are unattainable in other compact tracked jaw plants. Hydraulic wedge CSS adjust allows for push button CSS control, while an ultrasonic level sensor in the jaw automatically adjusts feed rate.

Following the McCloskey design viewpoint of high capacity hoppers, the class leading 7.4 cubic yard capacity of the J40 hopper provides contractors with a range of loading options. Despite the high capacity jaw and hopper, the J40 has transport dimensions of only 8’-3” wide, 41’-7” long and 10’-6” high, while weighing in at 68,500lbs, the J40’s power requirements are supplied by a 225hp CAT C6.6 ACERT engine driving a high efficiency hydraulic system.
