Mar 25, 2025 - 5 months ago

For decades, Hitachi Construction Machinery was under disguise, with their machinery distributed under a different OEM brand in America. At ARA 2025 they revealed their true colors with a renewed focus on the rental industry.

Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas Is Back With New Compact Line-Up

Just months after its successful MINExpo 2025 exhibit in Las Vegas, Nevada with its largest machinery, Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas was back with its smallest machinery for the 2025 American Rental Association (ARA) Show. From January 30 to February 1, rental professionals from across the United States gathered at the Las Vegas Convention Center to discover the latest in cost-effective and high-performance equipment. Hitachi machinery was front and center showing their true colors.

Hitachi Construction Machinery’s booth displayed their compact lineup featuring the ZX17U-5N, ZX35U-5N, ZX50U-5N, and the ZW50-5B. At the Convention Center West Hall entrance participants saw the ZX135US-7H and the ZW160-7 on display. Expert product managers connected with rental professionals to reintroduce them to reliable machines that are purpose built to maximize local contractors' productivity.

Compact Power for Any Job
The Hitachi compact excavators that were on display (1.7 to 8.9. metric tons) excel on job sites with limited space, offering a short tail swing radius that simplifies work around buildings, fences, and other obstacles. Designed for versatility, they feature an auxiliary function lever and a factory-installed thumb cylinder bracket, allowing contractors to quickly swap attachments using the standard wedge lock quick coupler. Plus, LED work lights ensure operators stay efficient, even in low-light conditions. Whether it’s a plumber, landscaper, or renovator, these machines adapt to meet every contractor's needs.

Powerful Lifting Solutions for Every Season
The compact ZW50-5B and the medium-sized ZW160-7 wheel loaders are ready to tackle any snow removal with ease. With operating weights of 4.2 to 13.6 metric tons, they’re equally well equipped to move dirt and materials in other seasons. The seat-mounted armrest with electric hydraulic controls ensures superior operator comfort, giving rental shops a competitive edge by appealing to contractors who prioritize comfort to stay productive on the job.

Reliability Firsthand at ARA 2025
Hitachi Construction Machinery’s reputation for performance and reliability is unmatched. These machines are built to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency, making them the smartest choice for rental shops looking to satisfy diverse contractor needs. Rental professionals from all over the country were able to see their true colors first-hand and learn why Hitachi compact machines are the best choice for the job.
