Truck Carries Message With The Load

Jul 21, 2010 - 15 years ago

Pink is a color rarely seen on construction sites, however Korpan Tractor is turning heads with a new pink articulated dump truck (ADT) while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

“By painting this truck pink, it really stands out from the traditional colours of the construction industry,” said Tyler Korpan. “More importantly, we wanted to do some charitable work with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.” The Korpan family was moved to paint the machine pink in support of all effected by breast cancer. .

The pink HM300-2 is highly visible from Korpan Tractor’s busy Saskatoon Idylwyld location. The articulated dump truck (ADT) has raised a great deal of curiosity. Upon learning of the message behind the pink paint, people have expressed their support. .

With the pink ADT in its rental fleet, Korpan Tractor has committed to donate proceeds of the rental towards breast cancer research. Although the truck currently overlooks Idylwyld traffic, it is bound to see action soon. Regarding its rental, “We have prospects in mind,” said Korpan. “Customers will be happy to know that it’s all for a good cause.” .

Korpan Tractor & Parts is a heavy construction equipment dealership offering a full range of products and services. Located in north Saskatoon along Highway 16, it has been in business since 1965.
