Full steam ahead for 2021 including the ALL NEW 50/50 For the Kids draw!

Launched in 1997 with a simple goal to help one little girl, Golf for Kids raised over $14,000. Twenty-three years later, more than 100 children’s charities have been impacted and $7.9M has been raised. Golf for Kids has truly become one of British Columbia’s premier annual fundraisers.

More than a charity golf tournament, Golf for Kids brings together sponsors, donors, golfers, partners, volunteers, community advocates and devoted youth in support of kids and their families.

Over the past two decades Golf for Kids and its feature charity Help Fill A Dream, have built an incredible partnership recognizing that every day kids have the opportunity to dream, but it's not every day that those dreams are fulfilled. Together we can make sure dreams do come true.

This year, Help Fill A Dream celebrates its 35th anniversary and more than 3,400 Vancouver Island children have received Dreams or assistance over the years. Thanks to community generosity, Help Fill A Dream has never had to say no to a request from a child who qualifies for its support.

By working together we can continue to transform generosity into meaningful impact. Golf for Kids works because of the commitment and passion of everyone involved. And it’s more important moving forward this year than ever before.

Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic last year and a necessary virtual event, in the end Golf for Kids raised over $500,000 for the kids and their families in the communities that count on us. This year we’re aiming for $750,000.

With the on-going challenges for larger gatherings Golf for Kids will once again be a virtual extravaganza in 2021. Important dates to note include the online Celebration Ceremony on September 10th hosted once again by Ed Bain, as well as the online silent auction that starts on September 3rd and runs through until the 12th. And in an effort to ramp up the excitement and get the fundraising started as soon as possible, Help Fill A Dream and Golf for Kids are launching an inaugural 50/50 For the Kids draw.
