Announcing The Winners Of The 2021 Supply Post Readers’ Choice Awards!

2021 was an interesting year for everyone, to say the least! Including us here at Supply Post Newspaper. Most businesses were constantly “pivoting” and trying to stay afloat. We think it’s important that we show our appreciation to the businesses who went above and beyond; who gave great customer service and purchase satisfaction, in spite of endless challenges.

Last year, we launched the Supply Post Readers’ Choice Awards, where you — readers of Supply Post Newspaper and SupplyPost.com — could nominate a business who served you well in 2021. Those who participated showed your appreciation for the businesses, large or small, who make our industry great. The voting ended December 15th, and we are pleased to announce the winners in each category!

2021’s Small Business of the Year is B.C.-based Wheeler Equipment, who continues the legacy of Washington Iron Works forestry machines and yarders in the Pacific Northwest. There are Wheeler refurbished machines working up and down the west coast of North America, in Alaska, Manitoba, Quebec and New Zealand. It’s an exciting time at the Wheeler Equipment shop on River Road in Delta, British Columbia, but along with that excitement comes many challenges. Principles of excellence have brought success to Stuart Wheeler Sr. and the Wheeler Equipment Ltd. team for almost four decades, and Stuart Wheeler Jr. will see that this Legacy of Excellence is carried through well into the future.
