Samsara-Trucking HR Canada Top Fleet Employers scholarship applications now open

Applications are now open for the new Samsara-Trucking HR Canada Top Fleet Employers scholarship.

The $5,000 scholarship, announced at the 2025 Top Fleet Employers Gala in October, will be awarded to a post-secondary student whose parent works for a Top Fleet Employer.

“Trucking HR Canada welcomes Samsara as a partner in supporting our sector and investing in the families of top fleet employers who are the backbone of Canada’s supply chain,” said Angela Splinter, CEO, Trucking HR Canada. “This generous scholarship will help highlight the important role of our sector, as well as the hard-working people in our Top Fleet Employer program.”

The scholarship is open to post-secondary students enrolled in any accredited Canadian college or university.

Part of the application process is a two-minute video featuring a personal story about a way their parent’s career has made them feel proud or inspired, shaped their values, or influenced their understanding of the broader economy and supply chain.

Applications are open until June 30, 2026. Funds will be released for the fall 2026 semester. A message from winner will also be delivered in October at THRC’s Top Fleet Employers Awards Gala in Toronto.
