Velocity Truck Centres (VTC) has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new state-of-the-art facility in Kelowna, British Columbia, signaling a new era of excellence in truck sales and service.

Velocity Truck Centres Breaks Ground On Kelowna Facility

This landmark project represents a significant investment in the community and underscores VTC’s unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled customer experiences.

This milestone event marks the beginning of an exciting journey as VTC embarks on the construction of a facility designed to meet the evolving needs of its customers through innovation in CNG and other green technology and elevate the standards of the industry.

With its 41,000 sq feet of space, the new branch was built with both Velocity Customers and the environment in mind.  It will include 19 service bays, including a Hydrogen efficient repair bay and wash bay.  With higher than standard bay doors, we will be able to support any customer that requires support, with limited height restrictions.  The branch also offers customers an expanded parts warehouse, larger shipping and receiving docks and a customer focused lounge and staging area.

Features of the new Velocity Truck Centres Dealership Include:

  • Innovative Facility Design: The new facility will feature a modern design that reflects VTC’s commitment to innovation and customer-centricity. From spacious showrooms to cutting-edge service bays, every aspect of the facility is meticulously planned to enhance the customer experience.
  • Community Engagement: As a proud member of the community, Velocity Truck Centres is committed to fostering meaningful connections and giving back to the neighbourhoods it serves. The groundbreaking ceremony presents an opportunity for community members to come together and celebrate a shared vision for the future. The partnerships with the City and the Kelowna International Airport will be discussed at the event.
  • Expanded Product Offerings: With the new facility, Velocity Truck Centres will be able to showcase an expanded range of truck models, accessories, and services, providing customers with greater choice and flexibility.

“We look forward to welcoming this new state-of-the-art facility to the YLW campus and the City of Kelowna. This is a testament to the City’s commitment to finding sustainable and innovative solutions that address climate change through embracing new green technologies.” says Mayor Tom Dyas, “This is more than just a building. It is an investment in the community that translates to more job opportunities, fostering our growing local economy, mentorship and learning opportunities for our local colleges and universities, and attracting more business to our continually evolving City.”

Commenting on the groundbreaking ceremony, Velocity Truck Centres President, Rod Graham stated, “We are thrilled to break ground on our new state-of-the-art facility, which represents a significant milestone in our journey to redefine the truck sales and service experience. This project underscores our unwavering commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and community engagement. We look forward to welcoming customers to our new facility in the Spring of 2025.”

“Velocity Truck Centres is an exciting addition to the YLW Campus as a company that can support future technology innovation and help their customers reach environmental goals through cleantech solutions”, says Sam Samaddar, CEO of Kelowna International Airport. “Velocity Truck Centres is a campus partner committed to supporting net zero initiatives and the greenhouse gas reduction strategies that YLW is working towards.”
