Erich Janke December 2, 1945 – March 8, 2018

In the early morning hours on March 8, 2018, Erich passed away at the Edmonton Cross Cancer Institute. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Martha. Erich will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Crystal (Mike) and Heather (Tim); son Curtis; grandchildren Emma, Caleb, Eric, Conor, Kierra, Taryn, and Rachel; sisters Hilda (Gary), Elsie (Ken), Doreen (Gary), Marlene (Gus), Reinie (Barb); nieces, nephews and many friends.

Erich had many joys and blessings in his life, but his biggest was his grandchildren. They enjoyed many hours visiting his shop, fishing, boating and getting muddy at the Jeep Jamboree.

Celebration of his life was held on Thursday, March 15 at West Meadows Baptist Church, in NW, Edmonton, Alberta, with his final resting place in Biggar, Saskatchewan.

The family will forever be grateful to the staff of the Edmonton Cross Cancer Institute for their care of their Dad.
