Jun 19, 2026 - 4 hours ago

Queclink Wireless Solutions, a global provider of IoT devices and hardware, has launched an advanced trailer tracking device that delivers reliable performance and deeper data access in the harshest operating conditions.

Queclink Launches High-Spec Trailer Tracking Solution

The rugged, hard-wired GV650MG unit delivers dependable network and positioning capabilities and a large backup battery, alongside complex telematics customization, making it one of the most sophisticated and flexible trailer trackers in the marketplace.

“What really sets the GV650MG apart is the Open CAN architecture, which provides the highest levels of flexibility for data integration to meet the most challenging trailer management and supply chain requirements,” explains Chris Diaz, Director of Business Development at Queclink Wireless Solutions. “It has been developed with durability and versatility in mind, meaning it provides non-stop tracking for complete peace of mind as well as supporting sophisticated telematics functionality and data monitoring.”

GV650MG introduces an Open CAN framework to its range of hard-wired trailer tracking solutions for the first time. Unlike conventional CAN-based devices that rely on a fixed pre-integrated CAN library, the device allows customers to integrate data according to precise supply chain needs, enabling more customized telematics solutions and easier scaling across mixed fleet operations.

The GV650MG tracker has a rugged and waterproof IP67/IP69K-rated design, dependable network and positioning capabilities and a large backup battery, ensuring uninterrupted visibility and connectivity even without external power. The wide-voltage support (8–90 V DC) makes it highly versatile and compatible with electrical equipment, while the 5800 mAh battery allows for extended operation of up to four months in the event of power loss.

The LTE Cat-M1 device enables more consistent global coverage and dual-band GNSS ensures enhanced location accuracy, while an optional external antenna is available for installation under the asset, on the trailer wall or inside where there is weak or no signal. The tracker also includes multiple interfaces to support a variety of pre-integrated accessories and BLE 5.2 connectivity for effective wireless sensor pairing.

“At Queclink, we are using our longstanding telematics and IoT expertise to develop high-performing hardware devices for commercial fleets. These sector-specific solutions use proven technology to deliver genuine operational improvements and performance benefits,” adds Chris Diaz.
