  • Maritimes’ Largest Heavy Equipment Show Announces Move To 2022

Maritimes’ Largest Heavy Equipment Show Announces Move To 2022
    AHES in 2018

In conjunction with the Atlantic Land Improvement Contractors Association (ALICA), the producers of the Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show have announced its postponement to 2022. This leading trade event will now take place April 13-14, 2022 at the Moncton Coliseum Complex.
As the largest industry event east of Montreal, the Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show regularly attracts nearly 15,000 exhibitors and attendees from throughout Canada and the United States. The ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have forced its rescheduling several times; it was initially set for April 2020 and then deferred to 2021. The move to 2022 returns the show to its regular biennial cycle.
“We were hopeful that by the spring of 2021 we’d see some loosening of quarantine requirements and that some provincial borders would reopen,” said Mark Cusack, National Show Manager. “Unfortunately, the situation remains quite fluid and we’re still seeing many companies with bans on corporate travel and in-person events. We can’t wait to bring everyone together when it’s safe to do so, but for now we are prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved with Atlantic Heavy and positioning it for a safe and successful return next April.”
Given that many companies rely on trade shows like the Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show as part of their annual marketing activities, the show management team is introducing a new, Canada-wide digital product: the Canadian Heavy Equipment Showcase. This digital marketing platform is designed to help bridge the gap between the postponed show and the next face-to-face event. It will allow companies to promote their products and services to industry personnel and qualified buyers who would have attended the show in-person. Users will be able to search by company name or filter by category, and can easily connect by clicking email, website, and social media buttons.
Master Promotions Ltd. would like to thank the show’s exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, and partners, along with the entire heavy equipment community for unwavering support during these challenging times. The company continues to believe in the strength of face-to-face business and the networking opportunities that trade shows provide and looks forward to the time when events can once again be hosted safely.
Visit AHES.ca or follow the event on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for the most-up-to-date information and show updates.
