Daliborka Riberio Has Been Named The New Director Of Product Management For JLG And SkyTrak

JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and a leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, is pleased to announce Daliborka (Dali) Ribeiro as the director of product management for JLG and SkyTrak telehandlers, including the company’s latest rotating and agricultural models. In this role, Ribeiro will lead the multi-generation product plan and drive the direction and implementation of its telehandler go-to-market strategy.

Record Order From Maersk For Volvo Electric Trucks

Volvo Trucks in North America has won an order for 110 Volvo VNR Electric trucks from the global logistics company Maersk. The deal adds to a previous order of 16 vehicles of the same model and marks the single largest commercial order to date for Volvo’s electric trucks.

ATA Applauds Senate Passage Of Ocean Shipping Reform Act

The American Trucking Associations is cheering passage of the Ocean Shipping Reform Act, S. 3580, which cleared the U.S. Senate by voice vote March 31. Introduced by Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and John Thune (R-SD), the bill represents the first major update for laws governing U.S. maritime port operations in more than 20 years.

“For too long, foreign-owned ocean carriers have been fleecing American truckers and consumers to the tune of billions of dollars,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “These malign business practices have allowed foreign companies to reap record profits while slowing the movement of freight through the U.S. supply chain. We thank Senators Klobuchar and Thune for their bipartisan leadership, and we urge House and Senate negotiators to quickly reconcile their versions of this critical legislation so that the President can sign it into law.”
