  • Hyundai Upgrades And New Attachments Focus Of Exhibit At World Of Concrete 2019

    Hyundai HX130LCR Excavator Model to be Shown for First Time

    Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas featured a variety of recently upgraded models and newly available third-party attachments at World of Concrete in Las Vegas. The company also is displayed its Hyundai HX130LCR hydraulic excavator for the first time since the model’s recent introduction.

    “Contractors visiting the exhibit saw how Hyundai continues to respond to our customers with improvements and new capabilities that underscore Hyundai’s position as a top-tier, full product line provider of wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators and compaction rollers,” said Corey Rogers, Marketing Manager, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas. “We also are highlighting some of our strategic collaborations with attachment and component suppliers.”

  • Volvo CE Goes Electric On Smaller Machines

    In an industry-first move, Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has announced that in 2020 it will start the launch of an electric range of Volvo branded compact wheel loaders and compact excavators.

    In a pioneering commitment to future technology, Volvo CE has announced that by mid-2020 it will begin to launch a range of electric compact excavators (EC15 to EC27) and wheel loaders (L20 to L28), stopping new diesel engine-based development of these models.

  • New Inland Kenworth – Castlegar Location Serves Southeast British Columbia

    Inland Kenworth has opened its new 19,000 square-foot parts and service facility in Castlegar, B.C.

    The new location features a 9,500 square-foot service department and nine service stalls. Also included is a parts department that is approximately 4,500 square-feet, and a 2,000 square-foot space dedicated to retail display. The facility will feature an equipment division to further assist the Southeast region of B.C., which is dependent on forestry, mining and tourism.

    Inland Kenworth – Castlegar is located on 9.2 acres, along Highway 3 – a major truck route connecting Alberta and Vancouver, B.C., and near the intersection of Highway 22, which runs south to the United States border.
    Inland Kenworth – Castlegar is located at 2205 14 Ave Castlegar, B.C. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
