  • Cache Creek Working Truck Show

    This year, the third annual working truck show will be held in Cache Creek, B.C. under the Cover-All building next door to the swimming pool on July 27th and 28th, 2013. The focus of the show is working and retired highway trucks, although any vehicle or piece of machinery is welcome at the show, no matter the age or condition. The past two shows drew trucks, owners and operators, retired and working from all over Western Canada with some trucks arriving from as far away as the northern most parts of B.C. and Alberta. In the coming days a new website will be launched at www.cachecreektruckshow.org where attendees will have the opportunity to upload their show photos to the website and where corporate sponsors will have the also opportunity to promote themselves.     Quebec’s Université Laval achieved a mindboggling 3,587 miles on a single gallon of gasoline to win the 7th annual Shell Eco-marathon Americas 2013 competition. It was the highest mileage ever achieved for both Université Laval and the Americas challenge.
