  • Hendrickson Releases Universal Tilt Mount For International Prostar

    Hendrickson Bumper and Trim announces the release of the All Makes AERO CLAD bumper for ProStar with universal tilt mount that retrofits all model year trucks. The uniquely engineered design will convert any fixed mount bumper into a tilt mount configuration and is fully compatible regardless of truck model year. In addition, the ProStar AERO CLAD bumper offers nearly 4” of additional ground clearance compared to the factory supplied plastic bumper and is 15 pounds lighter than the standard plastic bumper with chrome overlay.

  • Smoothest Concrete Pavement In The State Of New York

    The New York State Thruway wanted to experiment with unbonded concrete overlays. They chose a five mile (8 km), four lane section of Interstate 90 near Hamburg as their test section. Surianello General Concrete, based out of Buffalo, New York, won the bid to pave the nine inch (229 mm) thick concrete overlay.

  • New Batman Canal Irrigates Southeastern Turkey

    One of the responsibilities of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) is the development of irrigation systems in southeastern Turkey. GAP oversees nine provinces and approximately 10 percent of Turkey’s total population, covering a surface area of 75,000 square kilometers (28,960 mi2). One of the GAP projects is a new concrete canal stretching approximately 140 kilometers (87 mi) between the cities of Batman and Diyarbakir in southeastern Turkey. The formal name of the project is the Batman Irrigation Canal.
