The following are repairs completed by the CAT Dealer prior to Marcel Equipment owning this CAT D8T Crawler Dozer:
At 6,685 hours, performed 1,000 hour service
At 6,601 hours, installed NEW a/c condenser, dryer & accumulator
At 3,908 hours, installed NEW segments, idlers, rollers & track chains
At 3,214 hours, resealed transmission pump & installed NEW u-joints
At 3,214 hours, resealed implement pump
At 3,029 hours, installed NEW ARD head
At 2,228 hours, installed NEW a/c evaporator
At 1,925 hours, installed NEW DPF filter

On Arrival at our Yard, Toromont CAT Completed a TA1 Inspection Including Pressure Checks, Performance Checks & Cutting Apart All Oil Filters for Inspection. All Needed Repairs & Servicing as a Result of this Inspection will be Completed.

When unit arrived in yard, MEL had local CAT dealer complete the following:
Strip machine for power washing
CAT TA inspection
Update ECM flash files
Cut open all filters & inspect for contaminates - all clean
Service emissions system if needed (filters, dpf, spark plug, injector, etc)
Service engine
Inspect magnetic plugs/screens & suction screens - all clean
Check oil levels
Inspect oils for discolouration
Check for logged & active codes & repair
Check for applicable service letters

Completed the following pressure checks to ensure within OEM spec:
• Engine high & low idle rpm
• Engine high & low idle oil pressures
• Fuel pressure
• Full stall boost
• Full stall speed
• Transmission pump pressure
• Transmission lube pressure - low/high
• Transmission clutch pressures
• Torque inlet pressure
• Torque outlet pressure
• Torque convertor stall speed
• Torque convertor lock-up clutch
• Flywheel low pressure - low/high
• Implement stand-by pressure
• Margin pressure
• High pressure cut-off
• Pilot pressure
• Accumulator pressures

Based on inspection, Caterpillar mechanic completed the following repairs:
Installed NEW ARD head spark plug
Completed 5,000 hour emission service
Field cleaned DPF filter
Completed engine valve set & injector set
Resealed valve cover
Resealed exhaust manifold & installed NEW studs
Resealed engine oil pan
Installed NEW track cannon seal on left side
Replaced all required hoses/lines
Tested & serviced batteries & connections
Completed required cab repairs
